We have entered a new year and we are greatful for all the different events we played during the past year. We want to thank you all for the opportunity to play for you and make your event a happy and joyful occassion.
We still have the same committment to making your event as stressfree and joyful as possible. When you book us, we want to hear what you want and don't want so we can do our best to make your event memorable for you and everyone that attends.
We still believe that it takes all involved to make an event a success. However, we are being hired to play the music and see that things go smoothly. Not to be "center stage" at your event. We are here to help you and give you some ideas when you can't figure out what you really want.
We have a large variety of music from some 40's up to the present, along with Country and Doo Wop. Our library continually grows, therefore, we do not put it online. Being of the "baby boomer" generation we stick to more conventional music so we do not do hip hop, rap or new age music.
We will not do music with "bad lyrics". By this we mean, anything with evident sexual or controversial context, including foul words. We do not want children hearing this type of music from us and I doubt you do either. This is the one big rule we have in playing for anyone.
We keep our prices down to a minimum because this is not how we "make our living." This is just the fun part of our life and we love what we do ! ! We do not want to price gouge anyone, but we must make a modest profit to take care of our equipment. We do not wear tuxedo's or have DVD's to give out as this is an added expense we feel we can do without. We do dress appropriately for each event (dress clothing for weddings, etc., and casual for dances). We feel our music should be heard, but we should not be conspicuous. This is your event and we want everyone to know that. We are the entertainment portion only.
